EXPOSED Voyerism, Surveillance and the Camera TATE MODERN

Went to the opening night on Friday. This exhibition is amazing, beautifully curated, I will definitely be going back. Fascinating subject and some stunning photographs particularly in the 30s/40s and 50s. I especially loved these two.
Weegee 'Lovers in the Cinema' is brilliant.

Vertigo Autumn 2010

Just beginning thinking about 'Vertigo' my Autumn show. Jonathon Holloway's stage version is set in Salpetriere hospital Paris.
I'm thinking a trip to Paris on the Eurostar might be useful (any excuse for an outing) but in the meantime found this image which has hung with me. Love the windows and the voile curtain blowing in the breeze, ghost like. Institutional.

Class Acts 2010

Unicorn Theatre Schools Festival Project.
July 2010
Model of set design

Chris Ofili Tate Britain

Visited the exhibition on Sunday. Still really love his early work and the Upper Room was stunning, an almost ceremonial experience. Not so convinced by his more recent paintings.
